You enjoy spending time with your pets. The love and companionship you get from a pet is second to none. Spending time with a pet can mean more exercise for you, in addition to lower blood pressure and stress. We’d all like that. Best of all, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics recognizes pet sitting as a growing field expected to rise 22 percent a year. Combined, in the United States there are 160 million cats and dogs, not to mention other animals such as birds, fish, and reptiles, which means a lot of potential pet sitting work for you.

It can be a great way to make some extra cash or could become a whole new career where you’re the boss and you work when you want to work.
